This position is responsible for supervising the Water Rights and Use Section at the Division of Water. This section is responsible for the administration and implementation of Indiana Codes on water rights investigations, well driller licensing, well construction standards, great lakes compact permit and approval processes, water shortage plan and sale of water program. Knowledge for this position encompasses regulatory requirements, hydrogeologic evaluations, policy development, stakeholder coordination, historical program decisions, and the interpretation and application of complex statutory provisions.

Temporary Part-time Sormwater Sampling Coordinator - City of Bloomington

Implements a stormwater quality monitoring program, including water sample collection, for the City of Bloomington’sstormwater system using knowledge of sampling best practices. Sampling activities must comply with the IDEM-approved Quality Assurance Project Plan for this project.

Stormwater Specialist - IDEM

This position exists within the Office of Water Quality and will be stationed in the Indianapolis Office of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management. However, based on the candidate selected alternate locations may be considered. The position is responsible for administering stormwater regulations in an efficient and consistent manner. The primary function of this position is to administer the stormwater program, which includes a multidisciplinary approach to stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and pollution prevention. Responsibilities include permitting industrial and construction sites and contributing to program development.  Responsibilities also include but are not limited to reviewing stormwater pollution prevention plans and conducting regulatory inspections for construction sites and industrial facilities and audits of local Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4s).
