Entry Level Hydrologist

As a Hydrologist within the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Water Science Center, some of your specific duties will include:

• Measure hydrologic data, collect pumpage records, install and close wells, and log data in boreholes and wells.
• Collect water and sediment samples for the analysis of sediment or particulate concentration or chemical quality.
• Compute, analyze, interprets and develops presentations of hydrologic, water quality and other data.
• Write parts of interpretive reports of hydrologic studies and prepares hydrologic information in the form of computerized maps, charts, graphs, or
• geographic information system datasets for inclusion in reports.
• Operate a government owned vehicle on a regular basis.
