The DNR Division of Water is inviting you to attend an upcoming workshop. The workshop will focus on a community’s resp onsibilities under the National Flood Insurance Program. The topics for eac h session are listed below with the registration link for each part. Commun ity officials (i.e., floodplain administrators, zoning administrators, surv eyors, planners, building officials, commissioners, council members, or may ors) who are new, or just want a refresher, are encouraged to attend.
In the past this workshop has been delivered as an all-day event at the St ate Government Center. With current social distancing requirements and othe r restrictions, we are offering this year’s workshop as a three-part series of two-hour Teams meetings. There are no fees for these workshops, but you must register for them to receive the meeting link and other materials. Th e workshops are eligible for Continuing Education Credits for Certified Flo odplain Managers (CFMs).
