2010 Annual Conference
September 15-17, 2010 --- Brown County State Park
Thanks to all those who registered, we are looking forward to another great conference. You still have time to register for the conference, but hurry...last day to register is September 3. Believe it or not, this will be the 14th year for the conference. The Board of Directors and conference committee are working diligently to ensure that this year's conference provides informative and timely topics of interest. Information will be posted on the website as it becomes available. Registered INAFSM members will receive email updates notifying them of updates to the Conference happenings.
If you have any questions, concerns, suggestions, or would like to help in planning this event, please email Unique Dahl, and she will be able to provide an answer and/or steer you in the right direction.
Agenda
A Draft version of this year's agenda is now available for viewing. Please check back before the conference to view and/or download a final version.
CFM Exam
The CFM Exam will not be offered at this year's conference; however, you may take the exam on September 23, 2010 at the Indiana Government Center in Indianapolis. This offering will be hosted by the DNR, Division of Water. Prior to the exam, a CFM Refresher Session will be available. Applications for the exam must be made in advance through the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM). For more specific information on the location and times, contact Anita Nance at anance@dnr.in.gov. To apply for the exam or to learn more information about the CFM program, go to www.floods.org.
3rd Annual Golf Scramble
This year's golf tournament will once again be held at the beautiful Salt Creek Golf Course on Tuesday, September 14. Tee times begin at 1:00 pm, and the cost to play (including cart) is only $27. Lunch is on your own, but we will meet at the course at 11:30 am to eat in the banquet room.
Please send an email to John Crist to sign up for this year's tournament.
The field gets more and more competitive every year. Compete for great prizes and enjoy good times with some of the other INAFSM elite!
