INAFSM STORMWATER COMMITTEE
|
About the Committee
The INAFSM Stormwater Committee meets bi-monthly meetings beginning in Febraury 2009.
Each meeting will have a specific topic and a presentation made by an invited guest. Typically, IDEM personnel attend these meetings and it is an excellent time to ask questions or make comments. All INAFSM Members are welcome to attend the meetings.
The goal will be to use our combined resources to offer a variety of activities that will appeal to a variety of stormwater professionals. Example activities include breakfast and/or twilight seminars on topics of interest such as BMP design. This will give each of these professionals an opportunity to meet, discuss problems, discuss solutions, discuss programs and to network with others who share like responsibilities. These special groups may end up meeting a couple of times a year or even quarterly.
The Erosion & Sediment Control Inspector's Group is one of these special groups and more information is available by following the link above.
Of the six (6) MS4 meetings scheduled each year an effort is made to have one in the south and one in the north because we realize it is a long drive to Indianapolis. However, keep in mind that teleconferencing is available at all meetings. You will be given a toll free number to call and you can hear and share in the discussion of each meeting.
