Annual Conference

INAFSM hosts an annual conference that is usually held on the Wednesday through Friday immediately following Labor Day in September (2020 dates still being determined). The conference is INAFSM’s premier event.  In addition to keynote and plenary sessions, we offer break out tracks in Floodplain, Technical, Stormwater, and MS4 topics as well as field trips.  We strive to bring dynamic keynote speakers from around the U.S.  to give our conference attendees access to national information while including our local and state-specific topics of interest.  INAFSM releases a call for abstracts in December and they are due in February.  The primary attraction of the INAFSM conference is the quality of our agenda and the educational sessions we offer.  The CFM exam is always offered during conference.  We also recognize the need for networking and social activities during our conference so we provide plenty of those too!  The INAFSM conference is a great way to earn continuing education or professional development credits and is not to be missed!
